We’re in the Clairemont community of San Diego, between Genesee Ave. and Clairemont Dr., right next to the O’Reilly Auto Parts store. Look for the tented, mid-century sanctuary roof.

Coffee & a donut
Grab a cup and say hello. Someone will be glad to point you toward the sanctuary.

About ten minutes of contemporary worship music, led by our worship leader or band.

We say hi
After songs and a prayer, there’s a moment to greet the people around you. Then a quick welcome and a couple of announcements.

Kids head to class
Kids from preschool to 6th grade come up for a prayer together, then walk with their Sunday School teachers to class.

We give & listen
One more song, the offering, and then the message — about 30 minutes, relatable for every age, grounded in Scripture.

We linger
Stick around for coffee. On second Sundays, stay for the Second Sunday Café — a meal, fellowship and a bounce house.
First Sunday of the month: we share communion right after the message, and the kids rejoin us for it. Second Sunday: stay after for the Second Sunday Café — a meal, fellowship, and a bounce house for kids.
What worship is like
Contemporary songs. Timeless faith.
Our worship blends contemporary music with traditional elements — led by our worship leader or band.
Some of us fondly remember robes and hymns sounding from the organ. We honor that, and we also know it isn’t the world we live in today. So we sing, pray, read Scripture together and hear a message that relates the teachings of Jesus to the world you actually live in.
You’ll see families, empty-nesters and retirees — about 50 to 60 people on a typical Sunday. Sit anywhere. Sing if you like. Nobody will put you on the spot.
What about my kids?
Your kids are part of this church, too.
We’re delighted to have you and your children with us. Starting worship together lets kids know they’re just as much a part of this community as the grown-ups.
Ages 3 – 6th grade
Kids start in worship with their families, singing and getting to know the grown-ups in their church.
About 15 minutes in
They’re invited to meet their teacher and walk together to class, where trained volunteers lead a Bible story, a craft and interactive activities.
Walk them over
Want to see the classroom first? You’re welcome to walk your child to class and then come back to worship.
Infants & toddlers
Little ones are welcome with you in the pews, or in the seats in the library area.
Pick-up
After the service, pick your child up from the Youth room. On communion Sundays, kids rejoin the service for communion.
Can’t make it in person?
Join us live on Zoom, Sundays at 10.
For security we don’t post the Zoom link publicly. Email or call the church office and we’ll send it to you. Every service is also recorded and posted online.

What’s worship like?

We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month, right after the message. Kids come back from Sunday School to share it with us — including them matters to us.
Can I join online?
Yes. We gather live on Zoom every Sunday at 10 AM. For security, we don’t post the link publicly — email or call the church office and we’ll send it. Every service is also recorded and posted on our Messages page.
I have questions about faith. Is that okay?
More than okay. Whether you’ve been in church your whole life or never been at all, you’re welcome here — questions, doubts and all. Our pastor recently preached a whole message on honest doubt.
